The fight for the island which is part of an uninhabited chain in the East China Sea claimed by both the Chinese and the Japanese. This has a lot to do with the economy in S.E. Asia region as whomever has the ownership of the islands would allow for exclusive oil, mineral, and fishing rights in surrounding waters. This would mean more resources and more business. This could result in another major conflict between these two but the benefits that comes along are undeniable it could possibly turn the economy of any country to the peak.
